1810 SILK DRESS

Ciao a tutti,

 da tempo avevo a casa un bellissimo tessuto di seta col quale ho realizzato l’abito che potete vedere fotografato. Il tessuto non era molto per cui ho deciso di realizzare un abito stile impero, un periodo che non avevo mai affrontato nelle mie ricostruzioni. Essendo il modello molto semplice ho deciso di cucirlo interamente a mano, spero vi piaccia.

The fabric was not enough for an elaborate style dress so I decided to create anempire style dress, a period that I had ever done in my reconstructions. 1875 RECEPTION DRESS ("The age of the innocence" inspiration)

Ciao a tutti,

tornato dalle vacanze ho trovato il tempo per finire il progetto che stavo portando avanti da tempo,un abito da ricevimento composto da corpino e gonna in seta bordeaux, epoca 1875. Il corpino è arricchito alla scollatura da organza ricamata (autentica),la chiusura è frontale mediante nove bottoni in ottone e due ganci. Sia il corpino che la gonna sono foderati in cotone color ruggine e seta avorio.

Hello to all,
back from vacation I found the time to finish the project I was doing for some time, a reception  dress in two pieces,bodice and skirt in burgundy silk, epoque 1875. The bodice is embellished on the neckline with embroidered organza (authentic), the closure is on the front with  nine brass buttons and two hooks.  Bodice and skirt are lined with rust-colored cotton and ivory silk.

'20s FLAPPER DRESS

Ciao a tutti,

l'immagine ritrae un abito dalla linea diritta tipica degli anni '20 del '900, è in velluto devorè, tessuto molto in voga in quel periodo. il punto vita è leggermente sceso sui fianchi.
Nella parte centrale troviamo un'applicazione di rose nello stesso tessuto e piccoli girali di taffetas verde.

the image depicts a typical dress from the straight line of the '20s '900, is devorè velvet, fabric very much in vogue at the time.
The waist is slightly dropped on her hips.
